A Virtual Teacher is an automatic tool
which will take over most of the math teacher’s repeatable work.

It is inspired by online lessons using a virtual board by Marek Wójcik, one of the best Polish private tutors. It goes far beyond today’s educational tools and not only does it optimize the process of gaining knowledge but also analyses every step of students’ solutions and gives them individual feedback. It is able to show where the student made a mistake, explain why he did it, and show how the calculation or mathematical analysis should have been done. When the student doesn’t know what to do, Virtual Teacher asks him support questions according to the Socratic method (heuristic education method). We are developing the full version accompanied by a set of questions complex enough to prepare for high school exams but now you can try out the prototype, which checks your calculations.

The following types of equations:

  • Addition, subtraction, multiplication of negative numbers, parentheses
  • Operations on decimal and ordinary fractions
  • Simplifying algebraic expressions and solving first-degree equations with one unknown
  • Operations on powers with positive and negative exponents
  • Properties of operations on powers
  • Trigonometric identities
  • Roots
  • Powers of numbers
  • Bunk fractions
  • Exponential functions
  • Trigonometric functions
  • Logarithms
  • Function derivatives
  • Quadratic functions

now you can check in our prototype

Below is a video instruction on how to work with a prototype
